Audiomarks and Loopmarks
Audiomarks are like bookmarks for your song. They allow you to find your spot quickly, create loops, identify song sections, and even indentify chord transitions. You can add Labels, Short Labels and Notes to each Audiomark allowing you to share real-time annotations.
Loopmarks are just like Audiomarks except they define loops with a start time and stop time. Loopmarks allow you to save more than one loop in a song, break down and remix your track.
Audiomarks are created at the current playhead position. Loopmarks are created at the current A and B loop slider positions. Marks are displayed in both waveform views and in the Marks List view.
While the song is playing tap the button at the beginning of each section (intro, chorus, verse, ….) to mark up a song. Now you can navigate quickly and loop sections easily.

Mark Labels
You can assign your marks a Label (Name), a Short Label (2 characters displayed on the Mark handle), and Note . Default labels are:
Position Mark | |
---|---|
Loop Mark | |
Skip Mark |
The Short Label defaults to a number corresponding to sequential position in the list of Marks. The first Mark will be “1”. Adding a mark before the first mark will re-number the applicable mark Short Labels.
When a Mark is created the Label will default to “Position Mark” for an Audiomark and “Loop Mark”.
There can be only one Audiomark at a single point in the song.
There can be many Loopmarks starting at the same point in time if they have different end times.
How do I?
Create multiple Loopmarks with the same starting point: | Position the A and B sliders on your loop start and stop. Tap to save your loop. Adjust the position of the B slider, while leaving the A slider fixed. Tap to save a second loop starting at the same point. Repeat. |
---|---|
Move an Audiomark: | Touch and hold the Audiomark handle in the Zoomed View. The handle grows and the time is displayed. Drag the Audiomark to the new position. Dragging the slider to the edge of the screen scrolls the view. |
Adjust a Loopmark: | Touch and hold one of the Loopmark handles. The handle grows and the time is displayed. Drag the handle to the new position. |
When you select or navigate to a Loopmark the A and B sliders will automtically align with that Loopmark’s beginning and end time. When you adjust a Loopmark handle the A and B sliders will not move (unless AutoLoop is enabled).
